In Geedesk we have introduced the new feature that, when we try to resolve the ticket through the web the pop-up page will come in the top of the ticket details page in that we have to enter the resolution note, which, is the reason for resolving the ticket.
If you tried to resolve the ticket without entering the resolution note the ticket will not be resolved and also you will get the indication as “enter resolution note”.
The resolution note will also update in the reports, so it will be useful to know the reason for resolving the ticket.
Now we will see how to enter the resolution note.
Step1: Open the ticket details page of which ticket that you have to resolve.
Step2: Change the ticket status as resolve, then you will the pop-up for the resolution notes.
Step3: Enter the resolution note and click OK.
In custom reports also you can see the resolution notes.
